One sees also the exercise of gifts directly flowing from the call to prayer:
praying and or counseling at the door and on the phone. Those with a special
intention often call and request that the sisters pray for a sick person, or
someone in need of a job, or perhaps safety on the highways as they set out on
a trip. A certain highschool coach used to come to the turn every week before
a football game with two requests for prayers, first and foremost that no one
get hurt in the game and second that they win.
